A Google user: “The emulator works great, however, after the update, the buttons on the right side (x, o, triangle, square buttons) of the screen do not respond to the touchscreen anymore. I know for sure it isn't my touchscreen's fault as I can use it perfectly fine without any issues. The buttons on the right side only respond if touched by the very edge of the left. Please fix this as it was working properly before the update.” – 3/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “I used this emulator for months with no problem on my S7, but then never really picked it back up again on my S9 until a few weeks ago after I saw that the app had an update. Now the buttons on the right side of the screen do not respond about 80% of the time. If this get's fixed then this emulator deserves a 5 star review, as it is one of the best on the market.” – 3/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “I waited to try this app out to look for other ones just to see how they worked out. There aren't any others than this one so, yeah. Anyway I have to say I'm impressed that I'm able to play gamecube games on my phone. Iv rated it 3 stars for 3 reasons. 1: im not sure if it's a glitch in the app or if the app is up to date, but immediately after I enable save states, the app crashes. I have a galaxy note 9 bought 3 days ago so I'm not sure there's an excuse for that happening. 2: on almost every emulator I've used for any console, there's no way to turn off the virtual gamepad completely. It gets annoying” – 3/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “This is a free gamecube/wii emulator and it's the best one out there, can't really complain. Games seem to run fairly well (full speed for the most part on my s9) at least frame rate wise but I do notice quite a few graphical glitches on all three of the games I've tried all really popular titles (Metroid prime, Re 4, and wind waker). Over time with more updates im sure the games will run even better with less graphical glitches. The games are all playable imo. I mean it's incredibly impressive to be able to run 2 different home consoles on a cell phone with improved visual options and maybe even frame rate if your device is powerful enough to support it. Bravo to the dolphin team for making this possible now if only Nintendo could implement an emulator like this on switch.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

David H.: “a fairly capable emulator that is mostly stable and responsive. half of the complaints & 1 star ratings are because people don't know jack about configuring Android. many reviews confuse emulators with VMs: the result is unrealistic expectations of the app. some things that would be great improvements: the ability to choose from multiple images & being able to root the guest. emulators are ALWAYS a little buggy, & VMs need hardware that doesn't exist on any mobile platform. this app gets close.” – 5/5 in Play Store

M M: “I love this app. It has so much potential. But I had to uninstall it. One day it started freezing after I had been using it successfully for months. I tried reinstalling it like the other comments said to fix it but that didn't fix it for me. I wish I could blame it on a game but it's the app. It freezes even as I try to enter the play store such a shame too. I liked being able to play two games at once on 1 device. If they ever fix the freezing problem I will happily re-download.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Features Emulates the dual-screen 2004 console with a variety of enhancements and customization features
Pros Fast, accurate, and feature-rich
Cons Not free, may have compatibility issues with some games

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “Been using this since 2014. Now that it also has rumble capability after the October 31st update, this is pretty much the best way to play DS games in 2018. Everything pretty much ran at full speed with everything (including double internal resolution and texture filtering) turned on even with Snapdragon 801 era phones. And if you use a 6 inch or so 16:9 phone, the "screen" size is pretty much the same in portrait mode as it was on the original DS. It's also extremely easy to set up and use, with well explained options and a file hierarchy setup similar to a Windows emulator (meaning you can dump files wherever you want and simply set directories with the emulator config). Highly recommended.” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “I've never bought an emulator before. Why spend money when there are so many free options? But I had some free Google credits so I gave this a try. I'd have spent real money on it had I known the difference. Butter-smooth performance, even on 400% speed. No crashes, no hiccups when saving. Lots of control and performance options. And a slick but smooth GUI. Don't mess with the free DS emulators. Get DraStic.” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “Not bad, but the scaling is not good as back then games were super small like 320x240 etc, nowdays we have closr to 4k displays, and so the built in scale to fit option would be awesome if it would work, but its not. Resolution change doesnt really work as the game is still small, only the window changes. Its a decent emukator but needs some work” – 3/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “A great application for simulating old and nostalgic games. Great graphic simulation without almost any bugs that interrupted my gameplay. I had some issues; which were: 1. The controls were either too small or too big (depending on the game resulotion), which can be annoying; but that is to be expected when you're playing these kinds of games on a mobile phone. 2. The controls had some issues being registered at some points, which can hinder your gameplay when playing games that require quick timing. But since you can mash the buttons, it wasn't too much of an issue. 3. The simulation would freeze when ever the screen times out. I'm guessing this is because on an actual device that can run these games (I.E. an old Nokia phone) does not time out (unless you have set a screen saver). This is sometimes a big issue especially if you forget to save your game and let your screen time out. Despite those issues I addressed, they can be easily avoided and you can easily adapt to them. Overall, this is a great simulator if you want to re-play your old memories or try out games you wished you could play. I give it a 9/10 and a well-deserved 5/5 stars.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Features An accurate and fast All-in-One retro video games emulator
Pros Supports a wide range of consoles, Easy to use, Customizable controls
Cons May not be compatible with all devices, Some games may have graphical issues, Not all features are available on all devices

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I'd give it a full 5 stars if it weren't for the lack of settings for the controls. It looks great and the emulators run at a smooth framerate no matter which one it is. The problem is no settings for the game pad itself. You can't change the sensitivity, sensors, or opacity settings for the control pad. It makes it an issue when you can use all the other directions on the D-Pad other than the right button because for some odd reason it's hard for that specific direction to pick up on your touch to move forward. Another issue is that sometimes the jump button will cut you off if you're playing a game where you have a double jump or flying mechanic for no reason. Like in S3&K I try to glide as Knuckles and it takes 3 tries because the jump button refuses to let me do that when I hold it down the second time and paired up with how finicky the right direction on the D-Pad is makes a bad combination.” – 4/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “This emulator works well, if you know how to set it up. My biggest complaints are that 1) it hasn't updated new emulators in a long time. PSP and Nintendo DS emulators are pretty common but they're still not available here. 2) There aren't programmable "turbo" buttons. The last emulator I had could program turbo buttons (for a Bluetooth controller) AND it emulated Game Gear too. Sadly it is no longer supported so Classic Boy will have to fill my void. Most of the older systems (Nes, SNes, etc) just require dropping the rom's in but PS1 and some others require bios folders as well so don't expect this to work as soon as you download it.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Cons Requires a stable internet connection, may not be suitable for low-end devices, and certain games may not be compatible.

Comments and Reviews from users:

Mingyue Chen: “Their service is usually good. However, there was once right after an update that I cannot connect to their server smoothly anymore. It was ridiculously slow on all my devices. I live in the US and use their US server. Both my home and office WIFI are unchanged and connect fast with all other websites. When that happened, the customer service was ridiculously unhelpful and blame it on my network service. After a few days, it was fixed. I'm pretty sure they figured it out eventually.” – 4/5 in Play Store

High Fi: “Definitely not the worst app in the world but it could use some upgrades and every single time I tried to add another server it just keeps on saying that it can't or that there isn't 1 available. I really suggest you don't waste your time on this app and I think that the developers had a great idea but just need to work on it better. Good luck to the developers!” – 2/5 in Play Store

Cons Some emulators may have occasional glitches or compatibility issues, and certain high-end games may require a powerful device for smooth performance.

Comments and Reviews from users:

William Lewis: “It has a lot of potential, but is held back by a few things. First, randomly all saved data for a game will delete, all quick saves and game saves. Second, I don't care for the lack of button layout. It can just be shrunk or enlarged. I should be able to move individual buttons. Third, higher fast forward speeds, it's barely even noticeably. And finally, cheat codes!” – 3/5 in Play Store

Jason Monster: “I think this is a great all-in-one emulator for most retro games. I use it for nearly every system supported, and it runs quite smoothly for all of them except for some N64 hiccups that need to be ironed out. But, considering it's usefulness and it being an all-in-one emulator, it's overall very solid. A tip for on-screen touch controls: touching the smaller dot that's in between any two buttons is how you press two buttons at once. It seems some people are having trouble figuring that out.” – 5/5 in Play Store

The buttons are also below the screen, so the screen is smaller but no issue for me. Will come back again after testing more games from different consoles. If everything works great and can complete a full game, would surely buy the paid version.” – 5/5 in Play Store

James McNees: “Love it, lets me play a bunch of different types of games with one app that doesnt take up too much space. Plus i download my own roms rather than some apps that you have to choose from a limited library. Love that im not sitting through adds constantly. That always kills the nosaliga vibe. Games have problems saving which is a bit of an issue. Sometimes it works others not.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I really like it, and it plays better then the recast. I would have given it a good 4 to 5 star review but it keeps completely crashing on my galaxy 10 at the worse times (20-30 mins of gameplay). I have only played "Time Stalkers" but it will quit on me right when I finish a dungeon or right before I save resulting in loosing all my progress. Please fix this and I'd be happy give this more stars.” – 2/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “Well this was a very pleasant surprise. Didn't know this was coming out and it is a huge step for Dreamcast Emulation. This thing is handling everything I am throwing at it. I am using an Nvidia shield TV and it is almost flawless. Games that previously didn't work or had issues such as Silent Scope, Ready 2 Rumble 2, Sega Bass fishing are all working. Skies of Arcadia which would randomly quit at certain parts of the game is no longer an issue. I am absolutely loving this! It is also super simple to use. Which leads me to my 1 missing star. It's too simple. Maybe I am missing something but is there a way to search for a title? Scrolling through the entire list is tedious. Also there should be the game name in text under the cover art. Some covers it is hard to read the name of the game. Lastly it really needs some sort of VMU management. I was able to add the dreamcast bios to fix the last issue though. EDIT: after some time still great emulator. Ran into a bug where if you have too many roms the emulator randomly force closes. This is getting fixed. Second issue is stuttering when playing from external HDD on shield. Moved to internal and stutter went away.” – 4/5 in Play Store

James Sullivan: “This runs most games pretty well. It just requires some set up, and going through the directories ever time you want to change a game. I purchased the full version, in hopes that it would be able to look in my sd card for the games, but still no dice. Mapping controllers works good. You can even map your controller different for each system. I would give this a higher rating if I could goto me sd card.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Brandon Hoffman: “The system works well enough. Two big problems: Paying for the "Full" version only allows it on your current phone. The moment you change phones, you lose your Full version. I loved the full version, but refuse to buy it multiple times. The second problem with the free version: you can't move off of the free version screen. If you misclick and minimize the app for *any* reason, the game closes and locks it behind the Full Version save state.” – 2/5 in Play Store

dan dunay: “This is easily the best Android launcher I've ever used. Most Android launchers just enhance or tweak the default Google interface. Win-X makes truly different assumptions about the user interface. The basic concept of a start button, search gadget, status bar is something we take for granted in Windoze/Mac/Linux. And yet, this basic layout is far superior to the basic Android interface. The start button reveals favorites, pinned apps and a scrolling list of all apps. It is very easy to use. When you find your desired app, a long press lets you add it to pinned, favorite, or desktop apps. Awesome! The desktop supports folders. Apps can be dragged to the folder. Currently missing from the folder implementation is the ability to choose all its apps at one time by checking apps from a list of all apps. HINT, HINT! You'll also like the youtube introduction and instructional videos easily accessed from the "Welcome" folder on the desktop. Well done, Internity Labs!” – 5/5 in Play Store

Bill Hong: “I've tried a number of launchers that try to emulate the Windows desktop environment, but this is the one I'm looking to stay with. It has no issues that I can see with buggy widgets placement, or too small icons in the Taskbar that make selection difficult on a mobile phone screen. So far it doesn't seem to use up a lot of battery and works fast. One quirk I see is coming back to the Home Desktop after using some apps, there's a momentary flicker back and forth between the app and the home screen, as if the launcher can't decide whether it wants to go or not, which may be something addressable in future updates. I also appreciate that it has no ads, which allows one to really see how it works by itself without having to pay to remove ads. For that reason, I would support development in the future to gain extra features, but the app is functional and works well as is.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Features Run multiple virtual Android operating systems on your phone alongside your primary OS, all within a single app.
Pros Easy to use, lightweight, and supports a wide range of Android versions.
Cons Can be slow on older devices and may not be compatible with all apps.

Comments and Reviews from users:

HingedLemon Crepes: “I definitely favor this app out of many emulators out there, it's simpler, effective, and didn't frustrate me with any extra unnecessary steps. At first, this app had indeed been crashing, but that was only because I hadn't taken the proper precautions to ensure its functionality (i.e, turning on developer mode, wireless debugging, etc). After that, I was finally able to play older, discontinued games that were only available through apk downloaders that weren't compatible with my version.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Anluo Chen: “Pros: It works in Android 12/13. Option for Google. Easy to root, just import Magisk or Superuser. Game Guardian works. Con: Can't use Titanium or Lucky Patcher. OS failed to boot every once in a while and had to be resetted. App update removes my custom files. Switching out of the app just for a few seconds usually closes the virtual Android already, super annoying. It's working on Pixel 8 (A14) last week, but not now.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Pros Great PSP emulation on mobile, easy to use, supports a wide range of games.
Cons Some games may not run perfectly, requires a powerful device for best performance.

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “This is really the best PSP emulator out there, by far. *One thing I would love to see added is multiple Profiles, for settings and/or control layouts.* I don't like having the joystick and D-pad on the screen as they take up too much space together, but some games need one or the other. It would amazing to be able to switch between them with ease.” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “Two bugs: 1. Switching back to app often makes it crash. The whole phone freezes and requires a hard restart. This happens about twice a day. 2. Switching back to app also adds a black bar on the left which covers part of the screen. Toggling immersive mode on and off resolves the issue. Otherwise this is an excellent app.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Features Daijishō is a front-end for emulators, providing a unified interface to launch and manage your retro game collection.
Pros Organizes and displays your games in a visually appealing way, supports multiple emulators, and allows for easy customization.
Cons Can be somewhat complex to set up, not all emulators are supported, and some users have reported performance issues.

Comments and Reviews from users:

Mitch Smith: “I have tried a lot of frontends on android but always just end up going back to using retroarch directly. Despite how new and in need of some tweaking it is, this without question is the best one I have used. At the moment it lacks good handling of multi-disk games, or a way to hide games in your library. And I would also like some more view options like making screenshots be shown alongside the box art. But it is constantly getting updated and even if it wasn't it's still already the best one.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Mike Kubiszewski: “Clean. Easy to setup. And free. It's great overall I can quickly grab all my games and automatically get the artwork. It Even sets the best emulators I have installed automatically. Themes are currently available to and also love that aspect of customization. I think the name of the app is not great for the consumer level and as a result makes it less known. It launches quick and is my go~to front end currently. Thank you for sharing!” – 4/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “Getting better. I use this with Samsung's DEX. It actually works, mostly, pretty good. The mouse interface is improving, but still needs a little work. Resizing and moving windows is now possible but is still a bit twitchy. The scroll wheel DOES work now. The middle button is still NOT implemented. In short, it IS improving but they still need to work on it a little to get the mouse where it needs to be. The 5G WiFi connection seems to be MUCH more stable now, which is a plus.” – 3/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “The streaming bit is simply amazing. No input or output lag at all, even on my cellular connection. Truly impressive. Really took me by surprise how well it controls and looks. When it works; Everything else is terrible. Not all options not label as "experimental" work at all. They claim Android support but I have yet to get it working on any of my many devices (very new, not very new, and otherwise) all with different errors. Support does not respond and I do not care what the reason is when I am paying for it so get your damned act together, Shadow. Shadow wants $35 a month for this? The price is just barely agreeable. Except you launched too early as your production client applications are not yet ready. Will be excited to revisit this in six months to one year later.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Mr. Joshua: “I was very skeptical at first so I tried the light version to see how games would play. I had to get the pro version because you can play different councils all on one app! I don't have to download multiple apps to play multiple game systems because this one has an all-in-one! If you have a Bluetooth game controller, BEFORE YOU START PLAYING make sure you go into the settings of the app and configure the controller first, that way nothing goes wrong. It does not support PlayStation 2 games.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Jeremiah Hash: “Only real complaint I have is the inability to change the screen size. It's not so bad when I'm playing on my phone but if I cast it to my TV I'd like to be able to alter the screen ratio to fit the TV screen. Other than that overall great app once I figured out how to use it..but I'm not very tech savvy so it's nothing against the apps ease of use” – 5/5 in Play Store
