Comments and Reviews from users:

Breanne: “Been using since 2022. Love the app for music to play while asleep. But the most recent update made it so none of my favorites/recents showed up before updating, & I ended up having to uninstall then reinstall to get it to function, as after updating, it wouldn't even open. It said the update fixed bugs, but honestly it caused bugs for me when there weren't any previously. Overall not a horrible thing to deal with, but when I'm exhausted & half asleep & want to go to bed, it was quite annoying.” – 4/5 in Play Store

DeAnne Wiedenmann: “I'm sure this app is fantastic for meditation help and such. But I was looking into it for sleep. I found with Spotify I can create a playlist, a meditation person talking me to sleep, then pink noise afterwards to keep me knocked out. But ads suck. I can't make a playlist like that with this app. My options are a 25 minute sleep meditation, and nothing after, or sleepy music/noise for 8 hours. Which doesn't really help me fall asleep. I wish I could mix my own playlist with what is offered.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Jon Bach: “Overall, i really like headspace, it got a skeptic like me to believe in the power of meditation. Search features and overall selection have come a long way! The only downside for me and why not a 5 star, is that you dont get to choose the narrator. There are 1 or 2 narrators whose voices just dont click with me, and it ruins the immersion, essentially making associated themes unusable to me. I hope they add the option to choose narrator, or at least get ppl with more neutral voices” – 4/5 in Play Store

Paul Morphew: “Very straight forward guidance that has helped me get so much more relaxation and headspace. Tons of teachers to choose from and the basics are the perfect length of time for anyone. I have a very fast-paced mind with an infinite amount of racing thoughts. After doing just a couple sessions of the basics, I felt I had more peace and control than I've ever had. And for any of you skeptic Christians, this is merely teaching you breathing exercises and focus. No secular meditation or mantras.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I've often tried many other meditation/mindfulness apps, and almost all of their "free" versions are not very useful, or good at all. When stumbling across this one I thought why not..and between the little questions and small note taking section after each free daily meditation I found it very useful and very functional..has gotten me back into my meditative and mindfulness mode. Thanks” – 5/5 in Play Store

Jessica Paone: “I absolutely love the app. I love how there are a plethora of different meditations to choose from, depending on your mood or what you're doing at the moment. There are so many different options for background sounds! I do wish that the time for the meditations was on the thumbnail for them, but you can always just click on the meditation and exit out if you see it's too long or short!” – 5/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Stephanie Stevens: “I enjoy the app. And it helps tremendously. I suffer from insomnia even taking ambien it's hard to fall asleep. I love the wide range of options for the sounds you can add. I love the fact that you can save you special mix to your favorites. So you don't have to try and remember what sounds and meditation you used. Pricing was fair for yearly subscription 👏 The issue(s) that I'd like to see improved are: Offer more guided sleep meditations. And the sleep track keeps thinking I'm in a car, lol.” – 4/5 in Play Store

MayTae Harge: “Too many intended to glitches. I've had this app for years and it is constantly randomly stopping. An issue that's been going on for the past few years is I'll start the app and it freezes and won't let me add a timer. I have to swipe the app out which shuts the sounds off to get it to work. And lastly the one that bothers me most, my saved mix comes back up as a random mix with about half the sounds, and even tho unsaved those mixes pile up on my account. And the volume is always different.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Pros User-friendly, effective meditations, variety of content
Cons Subscription required for full access, some meditations may not resonate with everyone

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I didn't enjoy it. To me problem is the concept of guided meditation itself. Having someone constantly talking while you're trying to meditate is frustrating. To make it a bit worse, the voice keeps repeating the same thing class after class. After one week of trial I could get word by word what she was about to say. I have found some free meditation music online, which are a bit shorter, and which works perfectly to me.” – 2/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “There are very few things wrong with this app. It has pretty much everything any meditation app has: lots of courses, sounds, timer, progress tracker, and it's not more expensive than most similar apps. However, I just can't get past how chatty ever instructor is on all the courses. You don't get 10 seconds without her talking again to tell you what you should focus on or do. I've given it a fair try of like three months but it's not for me anymore.” – 3/5 in Play Store

My kids enjoy listening to the Saint stories and ask for the sleep music every night. BUT... I can't get the app to stay open. It will play for a few minutes, after the screen goes dark, it stops. Years ago I would meditate for hours every day and I'm using this app to get into the practice again, and it's been incredibly helpful and I can clearly see it being a good app for people of just about any level if your goal is to learn and/or strengthen your skills obtained from meditation. The app gave a free year of their subscription, and it's thoroughly convinced me to stick with it once the free year runs up.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Krissy L: “Signed up for the free trial on a whim, which I rarely ever do. Immediately loved the unique features of the app - huge library of meditations, sleep guides, and music; I get to choose the voice who guides me (Ofosu's sultry voice is my favorite) and the length of the session; and most of the meditations change slightly over time, so I don't feel like I am repeating the exact same thing over and over (this must be some AI magic!).” – 5/5 in Play Store

No faulty looping sounds and there are a few voices to choose from and a variety of lengths (between 5 minutes and upward around 40). The whole app is completely free for all the tracks and they are all downloadable for offline listening. 10/10” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “Great app! It is just straight to the point of meditation with no ads, no mandatory profile, and no distractions! There are only about 20 something meditations to choose from, but that's one of the reasons why I like it. In other meditation apps I tend to get overwhelmed with choices and other distractions. Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I rarely write app reviews, but Medito is such a valuable resource that I felt compelled to! Very well designed app with both meditations and short lectures. There are lots of great options for customization: for all sessions I've done, I have the option to chooses different speakers and different lengths. Only complaint is that it appears to wait to download the entire audio before playing a session rather than just stream it, so there's a ~5 second delay after you hit play. Certainly not a major issue though!” – 5/5 in Play Store

Kelly Deltoro-White: “It's a great app. Yes, it's barebones, but that's its strength. As someone with ADHD, I find some of heavy music production and plentiful talking during guided meditations to be really distracting. Medito sticks to the basics, focusing you on building a meditation practice you can sustain long-term. I've sampled a bunch of the meditations and I'm currently working through the beginners' course with my middle schooler to help her deal with daily stress. We're loving this app.” – 5/5 in Play Store

When I "favorite" a session, it doesn't save, and my favorites remain empty. And after initial setup when I added programs to "my programs," I can't add any more--I started a progem that I didn't initially add, and it won't log that first session or add the program to my list. Anji el tigre: “Easy to use; accessible and very blind friendly; thank you. It's getting very hard to find an app that isn't overloaded with unlabeled images, buttons, and circular sliders. Thanks for a straight-from-the-hip, getter-done meditation app. You're welcome. I'm really grateful that the reminders are verbal as well. Kaleigh C: “I got an email to provide feedback for monetary reward, but I'll gladly give feedback for free guys. Atom is a great gamification app for meditation. It introduces the practice in an easy to understand way for beginners and you can really feel that the creators care about the users as people, not as piggy banks. Two small critiques, the audio quality isn't bad but could be improved, and the ability to set custom reminder notifications at a particular time would be a helpful feature.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Kay Sibson: “Simple meditations but great for beginners I think. The articles aren't the best writing and the questions are often not quite connected and so it's easy to get questions wrong due to similar answers and not being directly quoted in the text. Besides that I'm enjoying the reminder to meditate and having a guided meditation that I don't have to go and find myself. Oh and the Birch trees are super cute.” – 5/5 in Play Store

There are lots of options for customising the length of each setting which you choose daily before each one starts. There are lots of meditation apps but this one was recommended.
