Cons Some advanced features require a premium subscription, can be overwhelming for users with a large number of tasks.

Comments and Reviews from users:

Cassidy Rae: “This app has everything I was looking for, but a bit confusing. At 9 tasks on the free version, it wouldn't let me add anymore. There was no indication why, it just wouldn't add anything. It's not enough tasks to use this as a daily planner. Plus, there wasn't anything that said about a limit or if buying pro would boost that limit. I'm too poor to take that chance. Bummer” – 3/5 in Play Store

Alan McIvor: “Easy to use. I like that it is available as a Windows/Browser/App. I can use it with whatever device I'm using. I will probably be upgrading to the paid version but I want to spend a little more time with the free features to ensure I understand all of them. I also think the supporting informatin they have on task and project management on their site is very helpful. Fours stars for me means it does what it is supposed to and does a few things better than most.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Jennifer Drangmeister: “I've had this planner app for years. It just recently started bouncing back an entire year when I put new appts in. For example...I just put an appt in for May 11, 2024. After I saved it, the calendar jumped all the way back to May of 2023, and I had to manually scroll back to 2024. I know... first world problems, lol. But it would be nice if this could be corrected.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Deidra Nicole Wright: “I have found this to be an amazing experience for helping me stay on track! I have adult adhd 👀🤣 ..I tried to use other planning apps, and they weren't for me. I have to say, "Any.do has forever changed my life with timeliness, schedules, and events! I have read a lot of reviews, and I did my own research. This app can/could be your dally assistant to put you on the path for being more organized and getting back to being stress free! What do you have to lose? It's free! Features Trello is a collaborative task management tool that organizes projects into boards. Each board is divided into lists, and each list contains cards. Cards can be assigned to team members, and they can include comments, attachments, and due dates.
Pros Trello is easy to use, visually appealing, and can be used for a variety of projects.
Cons Trello can be expensive for large teams, and it can be difficult to keep track of projects with a lot of cards.

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “Great for personal projects but desperately needs a way to display lists vertically. I'd like to have lists for planned features or groups of work laid out in advance, but not if i have to scroll horizontally theough all the them everytime i go to move something. Its a great app that suffers from one or two major UI flaws that can, but shouldn't have to be corrected with Chrome extensions in the browser.” – 3/5 in Play Store

David Betz: “Recent update broke image attachments. I keep various data images in cards. I need to be able to see the title of the images on my mobile device. You can no longer do this. The thumbnails are absolutely unhelpful. I used to be able to flip left and right to go to the previous and next image. This also seems to be broken. I have to use my laptop to use Trello now. This app is useless.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Pros Microsoft To Do is a great way to stay organized and productive, with a variety of features to help you manage your tasks.
Cons Microsoft To Do can be a bit overwhelming at first, with a lot of features to learn. It also requires a Microsoft account to use.

Comments and Reviews from users:

Ulises Martínez: “The hardest thing to do (pun unintended) was to get into the habit of checking my To Do list everyday. I'd write down things but would not add a reminder, and so, it was useless. After some serious commitment, I started putting down things as soon as they came up, and would also add a reminder. Today, I finally am using this app to my advantage and it has helped be more responsible. I never miss an appointment or something important I have to do.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Erik: “Mostly great, but unable to recover deleted items. If you accidentally delete a task or entire list, it's effectively irrecoverable. The standing advice from Microsoft is to go into your Outlook (???) and restore the items in your Deleted Items folder. However, only a subset of what I deleted was there and restoring had no effect in the To-Do app. Pretty silly data handling. The other features in the app are good and offer more organizational tools than other task lists at least.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Cons Can be complex to set up and manage, Requires a paid subscription for full functionality, Limited customization options

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “Does not have meta data, views, or filters. So it's virtually impossible to work with our data. Looks very much like a rewrapped OneDrive only you can't upload a file either. Very very limited. Update: app is still very limited. Mobile site, however, has improved substantially and allows proper navigation of sharepoint on a phone. Just note that the browser you use makes a big difference. Had best luck in Puffin (Chrome struggled)” – 3/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “I would love to rate this app higher if two changes were made: 1. Ability to link and sync Sharepoint Mobile to Outlook Mobile. I work in construction and am in the field approx. 75% of the time so streamlined on the go access is huge. 2. Ability to create and edit calendar items via Sharepoint Mobile. Our corporate schedule is dynamic so I need app capabilities to match. If these changes are already in play I'd love to know. My initial research thus far yields ittle. Many thanks, T.-” – 2/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “In theory, the app is great, but there are some limitations that make me feel like I need to keep looking for an app to help me manage my projects, tasks, etc. The mobile app won't let you move and adjust tasks in the sticky board view, which is a major problem. Also, when tasks are complete, I can't just check them off in the mobile app - it takes like 3 steps to check off a task. Then, if you're using the sticky note / board view, you can't delete a column unless you first delete ALL of the tasks that are in the column - even the ones that are already complete. This is a major hassle.” – 3/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “Update: was a two start review but I'm the last few years Asana has vastly improved the app where I don't see any bugs with it. Really love this app as it helps me keep on track and keep my team members productive as well. Old review: Love this software all around. Mobile app is good too, except one tragic flaw... often tasks don't get submitted because the internet isn't available. Clears them out instead.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Cons Miro can be a bit pricey, and it can be difficult to learn how to use all of its features.

Comments and Reviews from users:

Darcy Hannen: “I came to the mobile app expecting a similar experience to the excellent web and desktop versions. I was deeply disappointed. I encountered serious pain points including my phones locked rotation being ignored, shape elements not saving text, and no option to disable autozoom when creating new shapes. As it stands, this app does not meet my expectations or needs.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Silvia Pompei: “**This is a temporary/editable review. Feel free to DM a reminder to update it if/when you made my wish possible.. . . . . .**Thanks for the feedback on 5/4/2021. . .My response: Still keeping 3*** till able to directly drag stickies. It would seem to fall in the category of "basic user expectation", rather than "feature". But, hey, your web version rocks, so I have good hopes I'll soon be able to "touch and drag" :-) . . . . .End of comment on the response, here is my original review: It’s still too early for me to leave a well-informed review: I only just started using miro 2 days before writing this, but ONE glitch (IMO) that immediately jumps to the eye/finger and that caused me to abandon it for the project at hand, was the puzzling inability to simply intuitively “grab and move” a sticky note by touching it, just like in the web version (I’m really loving that). Nope, in order to move stickies around in the app, you have to “select” over the note (not easy to do), to encapsulate at least a good portion of it, before you can move it around. Compared to its web equivalent (yes to point and move), doing this in the mobile version is inefficient/time consuming/frustrating, which is made even more difficult by the fact that you are scaled down to micro-movements over a tiny screen. I would probably want to use the web version to create boards, but then I’d want the ability to edit and move things around easily on the fly, while away from the computer. This is where I got disappointed, when I tried simply re-arranging my sticky-notes and found I had to work around and drag and all that, just to move one from here to there. NOT worth my time, so I made a quick switch back to Google Keep’s handy check-list and finished the project with that . Hopefully you will improve the usabilty. Then I’ll improve my review.Thank you! :-) PS: Loving the web version so far!!!I started testing how I like Miro after attending the Clickup-Miro integration webinar on Sat 5/1/2021 :-) So yes, you got my attention!” – 3/5 in Play Store

Cons Can be expensive, not as many features as some other project management tools

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “Man, I'm not sure what the update was. I was hoping to get a completely revamped interface. For example....Still opens immediately to inbox. Is would like the option to have it default to one of my selected boards. So, instead, I need to navigate through to where I need to be. Also, probably the biggest thing on my wishlist was for drag-n-drop. I should be able to drag-n-drop pulses from list to list or to a different group for a quick organization of my day while I'm on the move.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Lisa Monteiro: “Pros: Very user-friendly. Useful templates along with the ability to customize. Eye-catching and flows well. Syncs right away with the web version on my computer. 30-day free trail with tutorials was especially helpful! Cons: No free "lite" version. The lowest cost plan doesn't include some basic functionality, such as video calling; video calling app integrations only included in higher-tiered plans. A bit on the pricey side compared to other work management systems.” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “I can't tell you how much SmartSheet has changed my life when it comes to running a non-profit animal rescue. I'm able to manage volunteers, keep up on appointments for the dogs in our care, automatically import our Google form submissions for potential familes and I could go on and on. The app has improved tremendously since it first launched. It is much easier to navigate complex sheets and having access to everything on the go has been a lifesaver!” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “Best collaborative project and task manager out there. I've integrated it into the last four companies where I've worked by just using it there myself. Then others adopt it and it spreads. That is probably because it's a very familiar interface. The feature set is also just what one needs to be efficient and coordinated. Truly a great app.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Cons ClickUp can be a bit overwhelming for new users, and the free plan is limited in terms of features.

Comments and Reviews from users:

Cato Keito: “The app has much more limited functionality than the browser version, and it's a bit disappointing that I can't reorder subtasks or create recurring due dates, but it's good enough. I'm posting because I don't see how to contact support through the app to report the issue with Docs. The behavior of the Docs feature is so poor, it's basically not useable for anything other than typing paragraphs. If I use enter, heading, paste, undo, or otherwise try to edit my text, text moves or disappears. 😕” – 3/5 in Play Store

Dan Millen: “Can often be painfully slow just like the desktop version, widget is lacking functionality beyond what's due today. Issues with portrait vs landscape mode on tablets, sometimes it works, sometimes not... If you use clickup on the desktop this app is servicable. Support is very responsive so that's positive. If ticktick had a real time Google calendar sync or todoist would allow more than 300 subtasks in a project, I'd ditch clickup in a second, but sadly clickup is best of breed... For now.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “We are using Basecamp 3 for our group of Lay/Care Pastors, and Pastors in our Church. In the beginning it's a learning curve. I had to adjust the notifications. I don't want email notifications and App notifications. Finding the notification settings could be easier. I chose to only receive notifications in my phones home screen whenever I "don't have the App open."” – 4/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “The company I work for uses Basecamp countless times on a daily basis. On desktop computers. The app...is another story. I have never had full functionality of the app on my phone. 95% of the time no campfire conversations, pings, to-do's etc etc ever loaded, regardless of how long I waited. The other 5% of the time it functioned after restarting the app multiple times. Since the most recent couple of updates, it now doesn't load 100% of the time.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Am finding it hard to find tasks and projects that are not (for historical reasons) not part of a space. Doesnt seem to show up in "browse"? Also, more importantly, there is no functionality to "quote" previous replies when responding (unlike the web and Windows GUI). Keep up the good work!” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “Poor user experience. It's hard to find tasks across multiple projects. Task view is overly complicated and needs visual cleaning. For whatever reason sub-tasks don't show on the board, just the main patent task does which is making it very hard to track work and action on time. Not following the best user experience practices in all aspects. I love wrike but overall application did no improve since it originally launched.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “Much better now. One of the worst camera apps ever. It always opens to the photo editor, takes forever to get to a take a picture. If you're a project manager you like drawing on your photos it's great. If you just need to take some pictures it sucks you need about three minutes to take a picture. one of the worst photo apps I've ever used I would not recommend this to anybody actually I tell people to avoid it” – 4/5 in Play Store

Jeremiah D: “So far the app works great. I am looking into other options recently. My problem is I need to either sync it with our cloud, we use one drive, or easily download photos to those folders. In order to download images you have to email yourself a link and then that link leads to a zip file. As more pictures are added for each job its hard to keep track of what is in and isn't already in our job folders doing this. It's their way of making you keep your photos only on their server. Shame.” – 3/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “I want to like MLO because it does GTD better than most other apps out there. But unfortunately that's not saying much. I keep waiting for someone to do a GTD app right. MLO has some things right, like its powerful capability of creating a hierarchy of tasks and subtasks. But doing some basic things is just so unnecessarily time consuming. For example, if I want to add a context to a task, I can't get to that screen in just one step. In EveryTask, my preferred GTD app, it's a simple tap, add the context, then save, which closes the edit mode and brings me right back to where I was. Three simple steps that takes two or three seconds. Tap the task and edit it. But in MLO, I have to swipe to the right, then click edit, do the thing I want to do, then "done", then the back arrow to get back to where I was. Five steps and more like ten seconds. Or I can tap and hold on the task and then click the three-dot menu to open the edit screen, but, again, it's this unnecessary wait time to do it that way, too. The amount of time it takes just to edit a task is a huge negative. Five steps? Really? Tap, edit, save! It should be that simple. Not swipe, tap, edit, save, back arrow! Efficiency!” – 2/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “I have been looking FOREVER for a "tree-style" to-do app that will allow me to sync across multiple devices, from phone to tablet to PC. I thought I had tried everything until I finally found this one. My previous favorite desktop application was "Achieve Planner." But that application is no longer supported by the developer and it does not have a mobile application. My previous favorite Android app was "Informant." Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I have been using quire from years Before the android app was released. The beauty of this tool is, it's fit for simple checklist to complex project, from personal to agile team... almost everything! It appears to be very simple cascading list, but when you'll need a feature, you'll find it's right there - tags, permissions, comments, attachments, sharing, assignment, ... The only thing I miss here is - API and Time logging. However, thanks for the awesome app, it's as good as the idea itself!” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “Enjoying putting it though its paces. Although it has an in progress option i would like to see a percentage marker. i also do not like their approach to boards. They expect you to manually add tasks of choice rather than automatically seeing all tasks as with competitors.” – 4/5 in Play Store
