Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I have been using this lock and app for about a year and all of a sudden, the app stopped working, I cannot see my passcodes, cannot set a new one and I have guest coming in an hour who needs a new code! I run my business using these codes. There seems to be no where to go for tech support or trouble shooting, I am afraid to delete the app and lose all my passcodes, then I won't be able to enter my own home. Help!” – 3/5 in Play Store

Leann Hamilton: “This is perfect for anyone that constantly loses or forgets their keys. Unfortunately, can't connect to smart home devices and can only have one user at a time signed into a profile. It sucks because my fiancee would love to be able to use it, but he can't create an account because the lock is already registered to me, and when he signs into my account it signs me out. Something to think about, though. Multi user functionality would be so much better.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Hans Lain: “This app still works even when your lock does not work. Even with full battery pack, my front door lock keypad will go black and not respond to any key presses. The app still works during this time. The only fix I have is the disconnect the battery pack and reconnect it. It would almost be handy to have something that would automatically reload the lock itself at like 3:00 in the morning every night to ensure it keeps working. At least until they fix the bug.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Bruce Conrad: “App works well however needs some improvements in the Wi-Fi connectivity. the app does not show if it is currently connected to Wi-Fi. settings or information, should show that it is connected to Wi-Fi and what the strength is. Instead, it presents the screen asking for a Wi-Fi password giving impression it is not connected. That's another issue, it does not appear to save the password. After an outage it does not appear to reconnect. Of course I can't be sure because of the first problem.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Alice Hatcher: “The android version of this app has difficulty finding local wifi networks. I thought I was doing something wrong initially when setting up, but in a last ditch effort to get my devices to work I pulled out my old iphone to see if I could connect things that way. I was able to get things set up on the iPhone app fine, and then control things from my android phone once connected to the wifi. It's definitely just this app and not my phone because other apps find the wifi without issue.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Rodney Rahamut-Ali: “From the moment I installed the smart outlet it's been nothing but problems. The outlet keeps shutting off and losing connection to the WiFi. Spoke to tech support and they say they are aware of the issue and hope to push a fix to all units soon. 😭😭😱 We will see..... So here is an update. The new software was pushed out and the outlet actually stayed on for few days....that was a first. But today once again the unit is off and I had to turn it back on. Same as before. What's the point🤬😡🤬” – 2/5 in Play Store

Cons May experience occasional connectivity issues, and requires a subscription for some features.

Comments and Reviews from users:

Danny Thornton: “I have read through many of these reviews and am totally confused as to how anyone is having the difficulty they are. I added my Kwikset and fully programmed it all within an hour. That includes removing my old lock. I do understand that there could be some technical difficulties in the original setup, but I have never had issues. I have been able to unlock and lock the door without issue. I also can see via codes who is unlocking and locking the door.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Clint Chapel: “It's a shame that so many people are having trouble with the connecting to Wi-Fi and responding to locking and unlocking through the app. I never have a problem, Except the batteries seem to die faster than I would expect. I am using enloop rechargeable batteries, which seem to work just as good as alkaline batteries. The only question that I have is that I got an email saying that the app was upgraded to version 2.2 at the beginning of the month, but the Android app store still shows 2.1.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Kayla DeMarco: “I continuously get operation failed. I could literally be holding my phone up against the unit and it still will say operation failed. I've been trying to create a custom passcode for somebody to use and it continuously keeps telling me that it's failing and then when I try it again it says that that passcode is already taken but if you go back it's not in the list of passcodes that I've created. I don't understand what's happening. It's super frustrating though.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Michael Turnbill: “Poor customer support, I've tried on 2 separate occasions to s get an answer about the app and supported devices. I've not gotten any responses from them at all. Would have been nice to of at least gotten a Yes, No, or We don't know response.” – 2/5 in Play Store
