Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I love the app, but navigation needs a bit more thought. For example, I know there are easier ways to check stock prices, but I often times manually enter the ticker symbol - and often times I go several tickers deep. The problem is that I cannot navigate back to the homepage without hitting the back button repeatedly. Needs to be a direct route to homepage at all places within app.” – 4/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “It's a great app, but don't bother paying extra for the ad-free subscription. It was great at first, but then every month the ads would reappear and I'd have to contact the developer to fix it. Then this month, they never responded to 3 attempts to get their help. I've cancelled my subscription to the pay version, but the free version is still ok if you don't mind annoying ads everywhere.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Robert Garver-Grijalba: “I love this app more and more everyday. I do wish there was a $5 tier, I'd jump on that to get rid of ads and maybe another watchlist or two but $17 is a little steep for a lot of things I wouldn't use. Free gives me everything I need right now (don't use that as an excuse to take things away please). Def would upgrade in the future if I found I needed or wanted to try them. Very mobile friendly marking up charts. Please consider a smaller Tier, less features, less dollars.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Andrew Kerfoot: “I'm a premium member, and it truly is worth it. My only nitpick is with the phone app. -when a pre-saved chart is loaded, if I switch symbols to look at something else, my saved chart is now the most recent symbol I looked at and I often have to go and change everything back. SUPER annoying. PLEASE.....pre and post hours have been terrible lately, and not even close. Very unreliable. Sometimes doesn't even come up. Paying a lot for features that should be there, that aren't. Needs fixing.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Jeremiah MacRoberts: “Easy to use. Clutter-free. An excellent tool if you know what you want to do. **Update: Dropped to 3-star (from 5 in 2018). For every quality and aesthetic change to the app over the years, there has been a negative one. More and more clutter has been layered on and default functions, not chosen by the user, keep being forced on us. Robinhood changed my life, I am an advocate of and investor in the company, but the app is going downhill fast.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Stuart Hecht: “Mostly user friendly app, but it is frustrating to have to enter a security code every time I switch screens and then go back, even after only 2 seconds. Also, it takes a ridiculous amount of time for customer support to join a chat request (like multiple hours!). Finally, a complicated and meaningless chart was sent to me when I wanted to simply view my losses or profits after sales- couldn't figure out what the chart meant, and still don't know because customer service didn't respond to chat.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

George Wahba: “The app has an persistent glitch while I am scrolling through a long list of stocks. It will suddenly refresh/reload and I will have to start scrolling all the way from the top again. Sometimes I can't even make it to the bottom of my list because it keeps jumping while I scroll. It has been happening for the past few weeks, and on multiple devices (S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra) so it is clearly a problem with the app itself. Please fix this. It makes it unusable.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Ibezim Okehie: “I switched from CNBC app to this one. Yahoo Finance is constantly being improved. Runs smoothly. The portfolios and watch lists are awesome. The desktop version is a natural extension. Great app. Added review below on Thu Apr 25, 2019. Yahoo Finance is having a lot if issues lately. 1) I like the new and refreshed appearance. 2) The speed has slowed a lot and it doesn't "stream" as smoothly as before. I have to refresh or check other sources on the prices I see which is sad.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Michael Rodriguez: “It's very frustrating to get verified. It doesn't tell you everything you need to do from the get go, you get emails later on with more steps, and then you keep getting emails telling you that you still need to do things you've already done. I assume once you can actually use it it's fabulous. But from what I've seen, the graphs are far less user friendly and intuitive than say Coinbase graphs, more "professional trader" like though, if you're experienced and into that.” – 3/5 in Play Store

Liara Jane: “UI is awful. The copy trade feature is cool. But literally trying to figure out how to use this is a wreck. Accidentally bought double because what was happening isnt clear. I tried the website also, which at least the sidebar stays open... but took me like 5 minutes to realize I have to scroll down to find the place trade button. Get your coding team on making some user friendly improvements. It's a good concept. But needs more thoughtful design.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Matt Maybeno: “Please fix your bug related to the options menu and the time frame. Selecting anything other than 1min, after you exit and reenter the screen, will change it back to 1D. It does not respect which time frame you last used. Edit: you say to leave in app feedback? How about showing how one can do that. Reducing to 2 stars. Problem still is there. Annoying as hell.” – 2/5 in Play Store

Michael Borne: “At this point Webull is prob in the top 3 stocks options trading apps you can have on your phone. I use it everyday. Edit: wanted to add that this app, since i reviewed it, has constantly been adding feature after feature to the point its almost a one for all. Comments and Reviews from users:

Edward Harvey: “Good app once you get used to it. only annoyance is the graphs and indicators often switch between landscape and portrait with slightest movement of my phone, despite the main phone OS being locked to portrait. would like a feature to lock portrait mode. and obviously an API where you can set limit trades etc, but I won't get greedy just yet.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Lyubo Tsanev: “This app used to be great - fast and reliable! For the past 2-3 months it is the opposite, especially during market's opening hours. Sometimes, when you place an order, you would wait for like 8-10 secs for each digit to appear on the screen after hitting the button. So laggy! Disappointing!” – 2/5 in Play Store

Pros Easy to use, low fees, helps users save and invest money.
Cons Limited investment options, may not be suitable for all investors, can be difficult to withdraw money.

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “Been a user for 3+ years. Overall, very satisfied because it's so easy to use. The only reason I withheld the 5th star is round ups don't always sync. Before the recent upgrade, I could go back and add the round ups manually, but that feature has been nixed. I changed to a weekly investment instead, which is fine. I love the pre-selected portfolios and have used several vendors for found money--another great feature. Even with the monthly fee, I'm net profit using the very conservative portfolio.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Josh Butterfield: “Simple. Quick. An easy way to save a few dollars or start out investing. The low fees are perfect for new investors. The update has made this app easier to use and navigate. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Edit: I've used Acorns for 5 years now and I would still give 6 stars if I could. The app is easy to navigate and offers plenty of information. One time deposits and withdrawals are simple and quick. I switched from round-ups to automatic weekly deposits, which took about 2 minutes to change.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

Abhinav Sinha: “Thank you for putting the autofill capability back in! I again have speedy and secure logins! old review: Why did you remove the "autofill" capability in the login fields? I rely on a password manager for unique passwords for different apps. This change massively slows down my login speed and exposes my password *more* because it has to go through the system clipboard.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Kyle Shanahan: “The best brokerage. It has a legacy layout but it has all the information you need for trading stocks and securities. Not the most beginner friendly but it's very easy to get used to. The separate app required for the Spend + Savings account is a bit strange but are new concepts from fidelity and is more for marketing. You can still manage the spend and save accounts from fidelity bloom in the traditional fidelity app.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “I hate the widget. Often just see a blank, black screen. UI is difficult to use at times to refresh (quickly) when the widget doesn't(can't) refresh by itself. As far as the app itself, the Power Etrade version is much better. The UI for the standard version chart is difficult to use and scale. There are times when I've tried to place a pre-market order and the app said it was placed; however, no orders in que nor any positions acquired. Scrap the old version please.” – 2/5 in Play Store

E L: “Been a customer for 3 years now NEVER had an issue. Now the new update is horrible, and crashed about 5 different occasions & can no longer take screenshots. I actually used screenshots to compare charts past and present. I downloaded the older version and got a message saying I am being forced to update to the new and "improved" version. 3 years never had a major update and worked fantastic. Cons Limited product offerings compared to some other brokers; customer service can be slow at times; not available in all countries.

Comments and Reviews from users:

Jim Q. Hifelmeier: “This app is great, a worthy alternative to the others (especially "that one"- you know what one I'm talking about)... It has social functions built right in, price tracking, analysis, options, almost anything you could want from a trading app. A few minor issues- crashes every so often (usually when I open a comment with a picture), doesn't have cryptos, and the price charts are a little complicated” – 4/5 in Play Store

Robert Fischer: “This brokerage is probably one of the best around for research tools, and reliability, and the constant flow of new features continue to improve it. There are a few issues though. Features for quickly placing trades are vital for day trading, but the only feature is placing an order by tapping one in the order book. There are no bracket orders, so once your order is filled, you're exposed until you place a closing order, which can take 30-60 seconds, making it unsuitable for some day traders.” – 4/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “So far so good... we'll see how things go over time. Update: Functionality is quick and smooth. Pages are easy to navigate. Trades are easy. Information provided on pages is useful. I like that when visiting different pages, and you return to a previously viewed page, it places you at the same location on that page as when you were last there. Developers - could you edit the app such that pressing the home button when already on the homepage results in a return to the top of page?” – 5/5 in Play Store

Fernando Martinez: “I really liked the app at first. However support for the app is not even close to ideal. A phone number would be great to contact. However I made two transfers from my bank to the app but they said it timed out. However the transfer still got charged from my account. So even now I still have no resolve after contacting customer service. I just want my money back that was unfairly charged. Update. They did end up fixing the situation thankfully. However a phone line would be great” – 4/5 in Play Store

Comments and Reviews from users:

A Google user: “Normally I shirk reviews despite the fact I totally rely on them but this is a good app; the information is clearly communicated without being pedantic or in relentless fast forward with horrid music smeared all over it. It's a quality learning experience that's well constructed; details like important vocabulary being highlighted throughout the text allows for a degree of self tailoring--you can sail past what you already know without stopping AND look up that which you do not as many times as you need without having to go back rummaging through wasting time some more because it helps to double check your grasp of new terms and concepts. That's just one of many helpful details but I chose to mention that since I found it particularly convenient. Doubtless everyone interested in this subject will find something different to like about this excellent product so give it a whirl I expect you will be quite content.” – 5/5 in Play Store

A Google user: “This app presents the basics of global markets and exchange to those beginning to navigate the often confusing and overwhelming realm of investing. This app differs from others in it does not bombard the user with a flood of repeated information. Neither does it confuse the user with frivolous details unecessary, even prohibitive, to learning the material. It provides investment basics in an easy to remember format that focuses on pertinent concepts and vocabulary.” – 5/5 in Play Store

Megan Phillips: “I love this app! The "school" is easy to follow with graphs and images to show you examples of what that chapter is trying to teach you. Then you can hop over to the simulator and start practicing what your learning! If you choose to go pro the subscription fee is extremely fair. I would definitely recommend this app !!” – 5/5 in Play Store

Ric Savacool: “Great so far. OK 4 stars for now. To get 5 stars I need the indicators to stay up on the chart if I hit the Education button and allow watch lists. If those two items are out of reach then it'll be 3 stars. Oh and it lags a little on the Minute chart and I have hit the Hour chart to get it to catch up. Might be on my end but look into it. Honestly this app is easy to manage and it's the only app I've ever sent to friends to get them on board. Great app.” – 4/5 in Play Store
